Mountain Telephone Long Distance strives to keep rates and plans as simple as possible. We offer a single competitive rate for individuals and businesses with no calling plan. In addition, we have selectable plans that assist you in reducing the cost of per minute charges in accordance with your calling patterns.

There are several options available for Mountain Long Distance subscribers. Without a plan of any kind, the cost per minute for all calls, any day of the week, any time of day, for the continental United States, is $.12 per minute.

There are several calling plans available to suit the different needs of our customers:

The Residential Calling Plan (at a cost of $4.95 per month) reduces the per minute rate to $.09.

The Business Calling Plan (at a cost of $5.95 per month) reduces the per minute rate to $.10.

An Extended Area Calling Plan (available August 13, 2001) reduces rates to 59 counties within the State of Kentucky (area codes 606 and 859 with the exception of Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties).

The Residential Extended Area Calling Plan will reduce the per minute rate to $.05 (at a cost of $5.00 per month).

The Business Extended Area Calling Plan will reduce the per minute rate to $.07 (at a cost of $7.00 per month).
